Marbleized slate box with lid, rectangular. Marbleized slate on front and side panels. Base and top are black. Made by the donor's grandfather, who was skilled in marbleizing. He came from Wales to Fair Haven VT. Donor's father born in Fair Haven in late 1800s. Made to resemble fireplace mantle in her home. |
