Description |
Robe for an altar boy in the Byzantine Catholic Church. Yellow/gold silk with green trim, has patterns on the front and back and a cross on the back. Buttons on both sides. Yellow or gold is the most commonly used color, worn when the service did not fall on a holiday. White is used for the following holidays/days: Pascha, Nativity, Theophany, Other Great Feasts of the Lord. It was also sometimes worn at funerals. |
